    The Shiksha team has determined that the exam was moderate in character after evaluating the reviews of the applicants who took it. The reasoning and general awareness components were simple to moderate in character, whereas the technical and engineering papers had sections that ranged from moderate to tough. On October 10, 2023, the SSC JE Paper 1 was administered. It was a relatively difficult exam.
