If you have little zeal to learn more and explore more. Then CU may be the best option for you and about the workshops and professional summer courses, they are organized time to time. Well,if I talk about placements, it's quite good; if you are good at your studies, you will definitely get placement in that time period; otherwise, you will need to work hard and need to grab the placement; the number of companies coming to CU is very large; you will get atleast 2to3 companies visiting the campus daily for placements in your third and fourth year, so forget about placements a little.The usual bundle costs between 4.5 and 5 lakhs. However, there is too much competition; in computer science and IT, you must compete with 5000 to 6000 students, making it difficult for a person to be hired. However, hard work pays off; if you are an average person, you can easily find work by putting in a little effort. If I talk about myself, I had a conversation with a fourth-year student at CU, and hewas placed in a good company with a package of 6 lakhs. Hewas an average student with a CGPA of 6.5 to 7.0, and all of hisknown friends have been placed in other companies as well. Around 90% of hisfriends have been placed so far, and the rest are having their drives on a regular basis. So, if you require a good placement in college with a pleasant environment and a decent lifestyle, you can surely choose. At the very least, it is superior to LPU, Chitkara, Thapar, and other Punjabi universities, therefore if you are considering these institutions, this is the way to go. However, you must maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in any scenario, or you will be detained, and the staff will not listen to your questions about attendance, so please maintain the attendance. Otherwise, it is a great university to study at.
