Being alumni of LPU, I will share that LPU has started an online admission procedure. I found LPU is a very good place to take admission and their procedure is too simple. Let me explain how you can apply. I am taking an example of the B.Tech programme. Step 1 - Signup Register onto admission. Lpu. In with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No. , State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the admission. Lpu. In with already created username/ password. STEP 2 - Apply for LPU NEST (Eligibility and Scholarship Test) LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in. Admission in this programme is done based on performance in LPU NEST. In addition, LPU NEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee: Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPU NEST Kit is 1000 (for Boys) and 500 (for Girls). Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit is 1500 (for Boys) and 1000 (for Girls). Fill the test application form. STEP 3 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST Exam. Appear and qualify the exam. STEP 4 - Result and Seat Allotment (Online Counselling) Get your scorecard/ rank. Fill the seat preference. The student can give preferences which can vary in stream and programme. In the first round of counselling, depending upon the seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates, a particular preference number would be allotted. Download the allotment letter and proceed for admission step. STEP 5 - Admission Deposit initial payment of Rs. 20000. After the successful realization of the payment: A Unique Provisional Registration No. Will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. Upload the documents. Recent Photograph Matriculation Marksheet Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. Hello, As per the current scenario of Lockdown and covid 19, you can take admission to LPU by going to their website even though I took admission with the online mode in 2019 even at that time I had more options like out campus admission offices and in-campus admission. Go to the LPU website, Choose your course but yes check the eligibility carefully then follow the steps which will be given on the interface LPU has always been guided by its commitment to respond to every situation in a proactive manner. For Batch 2021 it will be still online as per government guidelines. My brother is attending classes and giving exams on their " My class platform" its in-house robust platform, in collaboration with some of the best tech companies for online teaching and evaluation.

As an alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Also, there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this.
