For preliminary exam, Remain updated in “current affairs” in all fields.
For History, Economy, Polity, etc, you should read Class 11 and 12 books published by the NCERT.For general knowledge and objective-type questions, refer to the book “General Knowledge Refresher by O.P. Khanna”.

You have the following options
1. Join some good coaching institute like RAUs, Niravana or Chanakya. They will provide you the required course kit along with necessary guidance
2. Self-preparation - I would recommend the following books for CSAT
Quants - RS Agarwal
Reasoning - RS Agarwal

Read a lot. Read newspapers to enhance your knowledge of current affairs, study your books and reference books of your subjects, increase your logic power & analytical ability, give mock exams to kknow your speed of answering, contact a coaching institute to get good study material and lastly enjoy
