How well recognised are Indian Universities at world level?

Hi, Samesksha Being a student of LPU I know the ranking of my university. LPU is the best private university in India. LPU has made a record in the world also. Indian University to have scored a set in the top 200 global institutes in the Impact Ranking 2021 released by THE World University Ranking. Lovely Professional University has got the 101-200 bracket. Under the Impact Ranking, The assesses universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). LPU ranks amongst the TOP 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Only three Indian universities have made it and one of them is LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY. It has been ranked at the 2nd the highest position among all the Indian universities in its debut year itself.

India is one of the most diverse countries in the world, so you may want to choose your university based on the state and its local culture. Many Indian universities are in beautiful natural parks. Whether located in rural or urban settings, a number of the best institutions host festivals and events that make campus life more exciting. "Certain recognized universities having different missions and some are excellent institutions focusing on serving their local communities. We have considered 107 Indian universities, that are according to the expected criteria, and were evaluated for the rankings they produce which include India (all the ones listed above), " said Ben Sowter, head of research at QS. While many Indian universities have come a long way in terms of research, faculty, infrastructure and student quality, it is still a long road ahead and experts say the prospect of an Indian institution breaking into the global top 10 is very remote.

All the Indian universities are well recognized but I found LPU recognition interesting. It is recognized not only in India but all over the world. Let me share the recognization and approval of LPU. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission(UGC) a statutory body of the Government of India. It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the national level body of universities in the country.[1] B.Arch and M.Arch (Executive) programmes are approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), a statutory body of the Government of India for the regulation of the architectural education and practice of the profession and for maintaining the register of architects. B. Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy programmes are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), a statutory body of the Government of India for the regulation of the Pharmacy Education for the purpose of the registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act and for regulation of Profession and Practice of Pharmacy. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture,M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India.
