HR is a dynamic field. There is a good opportunity for growth. In XIMB, you have an option of studying electives/subjects of different fields of MBA. So as an HR, you can also study Marketing/Finance/Operations. This will help in future when you want to switch disciplines or develop further in organizational hierarchy.

Before any of this, it's imperative that you know that XIMB's HR program is now a full fledged school of HR with the similar faculty, XSHRM quality subjects. There are now separate Schools of Management, as the X of XIMB is now a university and hence, can hand out MBA degrees instead of PGDM in BM or HRM. If you're in it to win it, the HRM programme has all the resources you need, to be a well rounded individual with many super good opportunities for summer internships, visiting great out-of-campus faculty, participating in state and international level contests and last, but definitely not the least, final placements.
