How will be the placement for mechanical branch in 2021? I got a seat in Sastra University during counseling for mechanical.

Hello Modhi,
The future placements cannot be predicted but the placements will surely improve every year as we could see the development now.
Sastra University is having good placements for CSE, IT, etc. as many companies related to IT comes a lot. For core subjects like mechanical, ECE, EEE, etc., the placements are not equal to CS but you can get some core companies.
You need to be very talented and skilled to get placed in such core companies as they won't recruit in huge numbers like IT companies.
