How will different board students be ranked for BTech-MS admission at IIIT Hyderabad via Class 12 boards?

<div>For admission to BTech-MS at IIIT Hyderabad, ranking is done separately for each board. The primary ranking criteria is the subject aggregate score as defined against each eligible category.&nbsp;Candidates with&nbsp;90% aggregate or more in Maths&nbsp;in any central or state board must&nbsp;belong to one of the following categories:</div><div><ul><li>Must have scored&nbsp;<strong>90%</strong>&nbsp;or more aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry - applicable only for&nbsp;<strong>CND</strong>&nbsp;programme.</li><li>Must have scored&nbsp;<strong>85%</strong>&nbsp;or more as aggregate in&nbsp;Maths&nbsp;and any&nbsp;one subject among History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, English Elective, Sociology - applicable only for&nbsp;<strong>CHD</strong>&nbsp;programme</li></ul></div><div>In the case of a tie, the following scores (in the given order) are used to resolve the same.</div><ul><li>Percentage obtained in Mathematics</li><li>Total percentage in the board exams</li></ul><div>Students who have a tie even after the above are given the same rank and treated on par. The college aims to interview up to 25 students for CHD and 50 for CND via this mode.</div>
