Experience always helps and it is worthy to make the decision after having a clear idea on what you are expecting from the institute. It depends on your interest towards telecom and your expectations henceforth from the institute.

If your work experience has been in ICT domain it will be totally worthy it as post MBA companies prefer to use your past worked effectively. The remuneration is also on the higher side for 3+ years of work experience.
