How would you describe the life in ISM in terms of campus life, security around the surroundings , places to explore etc.?

The campus life at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad is pretty peaceful. You have all the necessary facilities, sports and activities for the involvement, whatever you might need almost everything will be available on campus. Coming to security, there are guards through the campus and the administration takes security of students pretty seriously so you won't face am issue there. Places to explore, there are a few you will sure get to know when you join. Overall, it is one of the best IITs, you can be tension free if you are going to join there. Hope that helps.

IIT, Dhanbad is one of the peaceful campus with lot of greenery around. Campus provides us with all opportunities in the field of sports, music as well as technology. Campus is secured as well as anti-ragging campus. Dhanbad has many tourist places like Maithon dam, Parasnath, etc. around it.

Overall, life at IIT(ISM) is pretty good. Campus has good facilities available, like different sports centres, canteens, health center etc. Almost everything that one would need during his/her campus life. There are even different clubs you can join to keep yourself busy and learn more. Apart from this, there are NGO's where you can give service to. Also, there are different campus activities or short term courses to learn from. Security wise, considering the location, ISM campus is one of the safest places in Dhanbad. Security guards all over and they are quite attentive. Hostel facilities for girls and boys is also quite good. Well, this is a place to learn a lot, so explore more and find out more places.
