As per the Feedback from the NET Aspirants, we have received mixed reviews this time. Majority of the aspirants rated the NET Exam easier in comparison to Jan 2017 Exam. They said that the level of Paper-1 was good and scoring amongst all the three papers and the difficulty level increased from Paper-1 to Paper-3. Whereas a few aspirants rated UGC NET Nov 2017 exam as tougher, in comparison to the previous years papers. They shared that all the Papers had a raised difficulty level this year. Even UGC NET General Aptitude QA and Reasoning questions were found to be very difficult to solve for the Arts and Sanskrit aspirants. Some Questions were from outside the syllabus in Sociology. Looking at the overall feedback received, we can say that the Paper-II and Paper-III were tough if compared with the last years papers. Benefits The Candidates get paid every month to study in IITs , NITs, and various institute Chances of getting a decent job in Core company increases once you have decent GATE 2017 score A Masters degree from a good college increases candidate chances of being selected for Ph.D. at an even better college, in India or abroad. If Candidate has a valid GATE score, he/she don't have to appear in the written/aptitude test and he/she are directly called for interview. A Higher degree than most engineers (who prefer not to go for Masters) implies a few extra jobs for which a Candidate with valid GATE score is eligible, but they are not. MHRD scholarship of 12,400 per month for 24 months if the Candidate goes for the Masters degree with his/her GATE Score. The difficulty of UGC NET depends on the subject for which you're taking it. The general level of difficulty is high and only about 5% of the takers are able to clear the exam. The exam is considered very prestigious and enables a candidate to teach at a lecturer and above level at public or private universities across the country. Many coveted institutions take this exam as a selection criteria for pursuing PhD courses. Some of these also provide JRF (Research Fellowship) to the top scorers in the exam. THE JRF enables the students to pursue PhD and get a central government fellowship. So, it is indeed a significant exam for those aspiring to get into doctorate and post doctorate level research or teaching. You may have to search for the difficulty level with respect to your subject and certain subjects are popular and therefore have higher competition.

Hi there, UGC-NET is a qualifying examination conducted by the University Grants Commission. It is conducted twice a year and is the benchmark for the appointment of Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellows in Indian Universities and Colleges. The difficulty level of UGC NET Exam is too high as it is conducted for the candidates who are willing to design their career in Research or Lecturer-ship Field. If you want to score high in this exam, then you really need to prepare hard.
