Hving a M-tech degree along with 2.5 yrs in Infy wil help my career in HR(MBA) ?or doing m-tech(as i was into academics bfr) was a mistake ?

I have been associated with infosys & this year i have started with my Mtech(as i wanted to hv a back up of mtech) as i was interestd in redirecting my career into academics . But i realized later i wanna do MBA in HR . Is my master's degree a waste ?

    no jeet not at all. If you have started pursueing Mtech then definitely this will lead to the post graduation (masters) in the technical field. Also you have worked for 2.5 years with infosys which will be an added advantage. I also would like to share my observation that today many engineering students are following the herd mentality. They finish Btech or BE then work for 1-2 years in any MNC then they take a mid career break to pursue MBA. I do not say that this is incorrect. Obviously this leads to engineering graduates earning a package of 10-15 lacs very easily after MBA from a Top B-school. But, if you want to differentiate then
