I aim at an integrated MS course in theoretical physics from iisc. what can be the second priority for this course other than iisc?

I want to do ms form iisc in theoretical physics in quantum mechanics and unification. iisc is my first choice but i want to keep a back up option of the same level. it would be great if you could tell me the specific path to get into both the institutions. i want to be clear about what i prepare.
