But if you just do it for time pass, then you need to go very far in terms of learning. Since you are already in your 20s and want to start with music learning, I suggest you search for a fine teacher and start taking classes. Make sure you are sincere and hardworking throughout your learning phase. It may take years to you, but be patient. Do regular practice. You must have heard about people /artists who have given all their childhood time to music, 5 years, 10 years and more. According to such trends, yes, somehow you have decided a bit late and it could become a disadvantage for you.
