It is a common phenomenon these days to see students taking a drop year after 12th. If you have really interest in Law then go for it but if you are not able to decide then better to join central universities. The reasons for taking drop  vary from person to person. Some want to take a gap year to travel and explore. While others want to take some time to prepare for competitive exams such as CLAT. The CLAT is the entrance exam for the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) and other top law schools in the country.
