I am a 12th commerce student without Maths, but studied Informatic Practices. Can I study BCA and after that can I do MCA?

If u have Maths Subject upto 12th then u can do BCA and MCA. In my opinion If u r doing BCA u will save 1 crucial year of ur life. Before starting career in software industry i would like to ask u r u very much confidant on any of the programming language. Can u independently handle any language?
