B.A. will be ideal for someone who loves to read a lot, loves history / literature, but finds technology and mathematical problem solving a bit troublesome. BCA will be easier for someone who is strong in logical reasoning or math, loves computers and technology, and likes coding. First identify your actual interests, aptitudes, strengths, and weaknesses and match it with the choices you have to shortlist the apt one for you. Others don't know who you actually are and their opinions are purely their perspectives based on their self-assessments or market trends.

There are a lot of BAs earning more than BCAs and there are many BCAs who earn more than Bas.
While choosing a course and career, what you need to consider at the first point is your actual interests, strengths, aptitudes, and priorities.

Each course has its own importance and demand. How good is a course for you depends upon how you do that course and How much practical knowledge you have. If you have interest in technology and you love doing things practically then you should go for BCA else B.A. Would be a good option. The best colleges are: Delhi University, Delhi
Jamia Millia Islamia, JwaharLal Nehru University, Lovely Professional University Jalandhar
University of Pune, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra
    Banaras Hindu University
    Anna University
    Christ University, Savitribai Phule University
The Maharaj Sayaji Rao University, Jadavpur University, University of Hyde
    ...more
