I am a 1st class Sanskrit (H) graduate &1st class in Masters (history). Am I eligible for NET exam?

How is the recruitment process? History was my pass paper in graduation.

    Hi,
    You can apply for UGC NET Exam in the subject, that you have studied in your post-graduation. As you said that you have completed your Masters with History subject, then you can take your exam in History subject. Along with this, you should have minimum marks 55% (Gen) or 50% (ST /SC/PWD/OBC/Transgenders) in your post-graduation.
    Before to apply, you should check all the details regarding this exam. So, prepare well with the good study material.

    Hello,
    The Eligibility of the UGC NET Exam is as follows
    You must complete the Masters Degree in the any subject (only one) with around 55 % marks for the Female and the Reserved Candidates the eligibility is 50% marks in the Post Graduation. The NET Exam is conducted every year in the month of June and December so you can prepare for the NET Exam from the Question papers given below - https://scoop.eduncle.com/cbse-ugc-net-question-papers. If you want to become History Subject Lecturer you must complete postgraduation in the History Subject only
