I am a 1st year student.want to leave my present University.i want to study under calcutta university.whats the criteria? Anindita Misra.

I passed out Higher Secondary last year.now I am studying Under Gour Banga University.I want to leave this University.i want to know what will be the criteria for applying as a 1st year student of English hons. ?is there any deduction of marks as im not a current student?please answer.

Hi Anindita Misra, If you want to study in Calcutta University, you have to apply afresh and start from the scratch. If you are a PG student then my suggestion would be to continue for another year. If not then apply for Uni of Calcutta and start afresh. regards, Gomti
