Dear Santosh, Final year or graduate students can apply for CAT exam. It means you have approx two years. Try to complete your syllabus within 12 months. Make sure that you are making notes. Know how to crack CAT: http://competitiveexamsinformer.blogspot.in/2016/07/can-i-crack-cat-2016.html

Since you're in 2nd year, you have a lot of time. For the time being, start with improving your vocabulary & reading skills, and practice speed maths techniques.

You can find a number of preparation books in stores. Buy them and start self study. In the final year of your graduation, join a good coaching institute for final preparation.
