I am a 33 yr old postgraduate(phy) and wan to study MBA.Is it possible to prepare for MAT on my own without joining any coaching centre?

    yes you can. I would suggest the following books for preparation
    quants - RS Agarwal
    verbal - Arun Sharma/ RS Agarwal
    LRDI - Nishit K SInha/ Trishna
    GK - Daily newspaper reading/ GK Today
    Or if you want, you can take up correspondance course of any institute like TIME and do it thoroughly. This will do.

    Surely. MAT is more of a speed test. You can register on the website, www.testfunda.com You will get access to all the past MAT papers. Solve the questions under strict exam conditions and see where you stand. Alternatively, you can also visit, www.aima-ind.org

    Hi Nehal, pursuing MBA is the most preferred career option by today's generation. The variety of scope associated with it makes it even more desirable. As it is a business oriented program, it will be of good help for students who wish to work with the business sector. In my opinion, if you plan to go through the entrance in one go then I would suggest you to prepare by joining coaching center. I am sending you link of institutes, please refer to it.
