I am a 3rd year mechanical engineering student having cgpa 6.4 till now.Hope to increase grades and looking for Masters in Canada
I did 1 month industrial training, 2 workshops, 2 paper presentation , would that help ? Any scope ?

Yes, co-curricular activities always help. Try volunteering at some NGO as well to show social work on your CV. And improving CGPA is very important, so focus in that as well. You will also be required to appear for IELTS, so aim at scoring at least 7 bands overall so that your admission process is smooth.
