    Hello, A high CAT score will surely increase your chances of getting to a reputed college. However, you also need to clear the interviews since a significant weightage is allotted to them too by the college. Good luck.

    A high CAT score do not mean IIM. IIM use a formula to shortlist CAT candidates. It consist of 10th, 12th, graduation marks & CAT score. With a high CAT score and average academic you can get to other top b school like GIM Goa, PUMBA, KJ Somaiya, NIT, DMS IIT, DMS BHU etc. Best wishes.
