The grass is always greener on the other side. Having spent 4 years in SAP, I know that in long-term SAP has less to offer. Folks from core MBA field may differ in my opinion. I believe when you say profit, you mean monetary and not from the career point of view. So there are SAP consultants who are working in top companies earning around 40 LPA with an approximately. experience of 10-15 years.
