i am a B.E mech. engg graduate working for a company in sales,does executive program in marketing help me/doing a full time MBA?

Since i am already working with a reputed company in sales & marketing department, i may not be able to opt for full time MBA, does doing executive program in marketing and human resource management help me in my career..
