I am a B.Sc.If I pursue M.A English from IGNOU,How much value will it hold?Will I be eligible for NET exam? Can I become a lecturer in DU?

Yes you will be eligible to appear for UGC NET exam and English literature is a good subject to make a career in the education line. Even otherwise it would help you in enhancing your communicative ability and presentation skills.

It is as good as any other combination, as far as job in English goes.As a matter of fact, I did MA after BSc and working as a College Teacher for more than 40 years.
