    Hello Twinkle,
No, you can't. As per the NTA guidelines, candidates should have Master's degree to appear for the UGC NET exam with minimum 55% aggregate marks, if they belong to General category or minimum 50% aggregate marks, if they are from OBC/SC/ST/PwD category. Aspirants who are in the qualifying year of post-graduation can also eligible for the exam. So, if you want to apply for UGC NET exam you have to wait. You must follow the age criteria also i.e. 30 years. Reserved categories get the 5 years age relaxation. For Assistant Professor there are no age criteria.

    Hello,
You can't appear for UGC NET exam now, as the post-graduation degree is compulsory for applying. At this time, you can start your preparation for this. You have enough time for preparation. This exam is only based on your dedication towards success in the Exam. All the best.

    Hello Twinkle,
For Science stream students, CSIR exam is conducted, which have the same value as UGC NET. CSIR NET Exam is conducted only for Science subject in 5 subjects and UGC NET exam is conducted for all the other stream other than Science in more than 80 subjects. As per your qualifications, you are not eligible to appear in CSIR. To appear in the exam candidate must have qualified their master's degree or qualifying with minimum of 55%. Don't worry you have enough time to study. If you are planning to peruse your Masters then for the December 2019 you can appear in CSIR NET Exam.
