I am a B.Tech graduate doing my job in IT profile. Is it a good decision to pursue distance MBA in IT management?

Yes, it would be a great choice, a large section of students opt for distance MBA or PGDM after B.Tech as it saves a lot of time and money. It also depends on individual references, interests, and career goals. Getting an MBA degree after B.Tech is always a plus after engineering degree.

To answer this question, it would have helped us to understand, what kind of profile you hold and how long have you been working. To understand in detail and more importantly to empathize with management concepts better it would be advisable to have atleast 3 years of work experience before MBA.If you want to stay and grow in the present company / job then distance education should be okay too. But if you want to fast track your growth in the same job / company then it would be advisable to do an E-MBA.
