I am a b.tech graduate in mechanical engineering & working as a maintenance engineer with total experience of 3.4 years. Counseling needed.

It's a slow moving career even if we sacrifice our social life also the system is very outdated as one should be having enough experience or jack to work with someone like reliance etc. Else our resume won't even pass the screening, also no one is ready to give any experience in this vast world.

It's important to understand as to in what area you need counselling. If it's on the career front then the decision would be based on your interest areas and long term career plans. If you are not happy in the current area of work then you can pursue full time/ part time/ executive MBA in area of your interest and move into a different career. An MBA will help you move into general management / operations side of a business.

You can go for higher studies. You can do Post graduation course in maintenance engineering abroad.
