MAT gives u a wider gamut of colleges to chose from. And the chances of pay package being relatively higher in colleges which admit students through MAT in comparision to the colleges which require CET after completion of the course. Additional to this the quality of education is better in MAT colleges. Only drawback would be the fee charged will be higher.

If you don't wish to do MBA in future, I don't see any reason that you should appear for these Entrance Examinations, rather you should do some relevant course like CFA in case you want to get into banking stream and similarly there can be other courses which you can choose and pursue.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a “best answer” or pressing the “thumbs up” icon.
