As there is no Botany in UGC NET you can go for Environment Sciences. You will have adequate knowledge also. Moreover, you can opt for CSIR NET applicable. If you have done your PG having least 55%. Mostly, this is for research scholars. Actually, CSIR NET is conducted for the Life Science students. Go for CSIR NET in my view. Good Luck.

    Hello,
Candidates who pursued Masters in Botany can appear in UGC NET and CSIR both the exams. If you want to appear in UGC NET Exam then you will have to select the Environment Science subject and if you want to appear in CSIR NET Exam then you will have to choose Life Science subject. If the syllabus of any of these subjects relates to the syllabus of botany you should apply in that particular UGC NET Subject. NTA will conduct the UGC NET 2019 Exam in July month. The registration process will start soon. Be aware of all the latest updates announced by NTA.

I think, you should take time do first decide what course are available to you and what is your interest area. There is no issue if UGC NET does no offer a particular course. What is more important is your own choice and passion. So, do revert with few options, so that I can suggest you other/relate courses as per your choice.
