I am a Chartered Accountants, currently working in company and age 34(General), wants to become Income Income Tax officer, Please advice

Please advice, is my age is within SSC exam or what other options are available.

to become Income tax officer there are two ways one is SSC Conduct Combined Graduate level examination in which you have to clear first Pre and then mains after clearing both then they take a personal interview after that you get the post of Income tax Inspector . and second option is Civil Service
