    AFCAT entrance examination is well open for graduates in civil engineering provided that all other necessary requirements are also fully met. The AFCAT exam is open to graduates in different fields including engineering and provides an opportunity to join the Indian Air Force, or IAF.

    Civil engineers can take advantage of the admission into most of the branches in the Indian Air Force:

    1. *Flying Branch*: This is one of the branches that allow entry through AFCAT. Although it consists mostly of pilots, by virtue of their engineering degree, any candidate can apply for the respective positions of either pilot or navigator in the Air Force
