I have done my engineering from IT branch. It's all up to you, you can opt for any branch whichever you have interest in. I'll prefer you to opt for the Electronics and Electrical engineering as this is the best branch that will have the awesome future and will be in the great demand as more and more electronics companies are setting up their manufacturing plants in India.
