I am a class 9th student. I have a keen interest in law. Am I eligible to pursue law?

You are not eligible to seek admission in law degree in class 9th. Students who aspire to become lawyer after class 10+2, can join 5 years integrated BA LLB or BBA LLB course offered by multiple universities. National Law Universities conducting All India Law Entrance Test for 5-years integrated, 5-years law degree courses for admission to law universities in India. Lots of private universities also offers five years integrated law degree such as BA-LLB or BBA-LLB or B.Sc-LLB. Eligibility criteria of appearing in Law entrance examination is having passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent examination by securing in the aggregate not less than 50% marks of the total marks. The Candidates appearing in the 12th Standard Examination in March/ April can also apply. Various legacy universities and its affiliated colleges offer 3-years LLB degree course. The degree entitles the graduates to practice law. Most of these universities conduct their own entrance examination. Graduates of all discipline are eligible to seek admission in 3 years law degree course.
