I am a commerce student but I wish to study biotechnology. Is it possible?

A minimum of 55% of marks in subjects like Physcis, Chemistry and Mathematics will b3 demanded by all institutions for Biotechnology. It seems impossible to study Bio Tech with a commerce background.
