I am a commerce student. Pursuing the B.Ed with subject english and commerce I am eligible for tgt teacher of english for 6th to 8th class.

Hi, Teaching subjects at the TGT level depends upon the subject you have studied in your graduation. For a language teacher you must have studied English as subject for all three years in your graduation then only you are eligible for TGT English teacher. You must know that there is no special subject as Commerce at TGT level. Therefore, with the combination of B.St and Economics you are eligible for the TGT Social Science. I would suggest you to do Master just after B.Ed.
