I am a Diploma civil last year student. Can I take admission in B.Tech CSE through lateral entry?

Hello,Lateral admissions after completion of Diploma are coordinated by the Directorate of technical education of the concerned state government. Invariably students want to change the branch as they pursue the dream of graduation in engineering. But there are some difficulties of the administration in allowing a free for all. As a result of this almost all the state governments have made a table available on the website which will give the student an Idea as to what different branches of Engineering can be selected based on the Diploma course that the student is doing. I would like to advise you to look at this website of your state and then decide the next course of action. Practically speaking lateral mode of admission is allowed in the similar branch.
