    B.Tech is the best choice after receiving a diploma because it opens up a wide range of opportunities, including those in the private sector, GATE, and UPSC. A few factors need to be considered before enrolling in any B.Tech course.

    1. Never take the distance learning option for the B.Tech course.

    2. The institution where you desire to enroll in the course must have AICTE approval.

    3. Prefer to enroll in the standard B.Tech course through the Lateral entrance scheme.

    Yes, go for B.Tech (Automobile Engineering), as you mentioned you did your Diploma in automobile. Doing B.Tech will be beneficial for you and you can directly take admission in B. Tech (2-years).
