I am a Diploma mechanical engineer presently working in Chennai. Can I complete my B.Tech in distance mode side by side.

Yes, of course if you have completed a Diploma, then you are eligible for lateral entry in B.Tech. Yes, you can complete your B.Tech in distance mode or by part-time B.Tech course.

Doing B.Tech/BE through distance mode is not valid for Employment and higher education purpose. However, you can do BE/B.Tech part-time from any AICTE recognized Colleges or can do the B.Tech lateral. AMIE is another available option for you.
