I am a Diploma student. Do I need to give LPU NEST exam or I will get admission based on my Diploma marks?

Well LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms already, LPU NEST is not a mandatory for all programs. For Diploma holders it will act as a scholarship test only. You can get admission in B Tech, however you have to fulfil the eligibility conditions. The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). And subject to qualifying LPU NEST. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The Admission Criteria is Merit in LPU NEST. Subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria. Hope it is clear to you now. Good Luck.

Yes, You can definitely do B.Tech after Diploma. For admissions, 2022, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (engineering. ). For B.Tech courses you have to give LPU NEST exam. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is best know for its placements. Around 90% student get placed.
