Surely, you can apply for UGC NET Exam. The Notification for 2018 is out and the exam is on 8th July whereas the application has begin.
The NET Exam pattern is changed from 2018. The exam would be conducted in two phases from now
Phase 1 & Phase 2
Phase 1 is the Aptitude Test conducted for all students and is common for all
Paper 2 is the Subject wise exam and is conducted in the Subject chosen by the candidate

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Master's degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc.). From a UGC recognized college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. It may be noted minimum percentage required to meet UGC NET eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD categories is 50% marks.
