i am a first year student. is it necessary for me to join cpt coaching class now

Dear Niriksha By first year u mean 11th standard I guess. See the current pattern of CPT is based on the curriculum of 11th and 12th commerce stream, so u don't need to worry so much just study ur syllabus nicely keeping in mind that u need the basics to be very strong to clear CPT and join a crash
