I am a General - EWS category candidate but in UPTU councelling they given me college in both round 1 and 2 on my open rank .
My open rank was 866295 But I am a EWS category candidate. The UPTU councelling didn't gave me seat on EWS category in any of the round why?

If, as a General-EWS candidate, you were assigned to a college based only on your open rank during the two rounds of UPTU (UPCET) counselling, it's possible that your EWS certificate wasn't taken into account or that ranks under EWS were more competitive.
