For this, you must have a Bachelor's degree from a UGC recognized university and your age should be between 19 to 25 at the time of joining. This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of SEPT/OCT and MARCH/APRIL. You will go to OTA-Chennai for one year training and will be appointed as a permanent commissioned officer after training in Indian Navy
    SSC
SNAES (Special Naval Architecture Entry Scheme)
Your age should be between 21 to 25 and you should have BE or B.Tech with minimum 60%.
