I am a government teacher. What is the procedure to pursue M.Phil in mathematics?

Hi Dhiraj, The minimum eligibility for admission to M.Phil in Mathematics is Masters in Mathematics or M.Sc. In any relevant stream. Most of the colleges arrange entrance test and interview for admission in M.Phil in Mathematics.

Hi Dhiraj As you want to pursue M.Phil, you must have a master degree with at least 55% of marks. Then, you can apply for this course in anywhere in India or abroad. You can even pursue your teaching as well as degree simultaneously. following are the eligibilty criteria To pursue M.Phil, one needs to have a Master's degree in Science, arts or engineering. Candidates need to acquire 55% marks in the subject chosen for M.Phil. course or an allied subject at the postgraduate level to be considered eligible for the course. The percentage Norm may vary from Institute to Institute. A written test maybe conducted to assess the candidates knowledge. Those who qualify in the written test will be required to appear in an interview. Certain institutes waiver entrance test if the candidate has qualified in NET, SET or equivalent national level examination. The admission procedure and mode of selection for admission to Master of Philosophy (M.Phil. ) through distance learning however, may vary from one Institute to another. Some Institutes have specified added eligibility criteria for admitting candidates into their distance learning M.Phil. programme. Good luck
