Yes, you can become a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya for PGT post, if you have a B TECH degree in Computer Science and more than 60% aggregate in it. Branches other than computer Science are not eligible for applying the post. For that, you have to look after the posts posted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan. After clearing the exam conducted, you will be eligible to teach students of class 11th and class 12th subjects related to Computer Science. Note: One disadvantage for B.Tech student is that even if they are selected they will not be promoted further as they wouldn't have a B.Ed degree.

    Hello Aja,
To become a teacher in KV, there are strict criteria laid out. Computer science graduate surely will not be eligible for the vacancy of a maths teacher.

Hi.

How to Choose Exam Centre Area in the CTET Form

 Select Exam Centre City Preferences

In the application form, you'll find a section “Choice of Examination Centres” where you can select multiple preferred exam cities (usually up to 4 choices) in order of preference.

These must be different cities — you cannot pick the same city in all preference slots.

You should enter them in the order you most want to take the exam, for example:

Jaipur

Jodhpur

Udaipur

Bikaner

CTET full form is Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a national-level exam conducted every year to determine the eligibility of candidates to teach Classes 1 to 8 in central government schools such as KVS, NVS, etc. Passing the CTET exam is compulsory for aspirants who want to apply for teacher recruitment in government schools for Classes 1 to 8

Yes, you can apply for CTET Paper 1 only if you make sure that you meet the minimum teacher education requirement for Classes 1 to 5.

If we talk about Paper 1, CTET generally requires passing of Class 12 with 50% marks and also a 2-year D.El.Ed, or any certain equivalent teacher training qualifications.

But, since you have B.Ed, you are eligible for Paper 2 (Classes 6–8). But, the CTET notification also allows B.Ed grads to appear for Paper 1 only if they have undergone a short bridge course in elementary education after appointment.
