I am a Mechanical engg(b.tech) student.. is it better for me to do M.tech from IIT or MBA from somewhere else???

M.Tech from IIT should be the choice on all priorities. MBA can be done later also with specialization as per the requirement of job of yours at that time and also as per the market demand.

After completing B.Tech you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, M.Tech etc)
However, as per your profile I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing your B.Tech and then opt for further studies.The advantage of this step would be:

Both the courses have their own benefits. You have to make your own choice based on teh flair and interest you have. If interested in general managemnt, project management MBA will be better choice.

Hi Suman,
Choosing a course is entirely based on your interest and skills. If you have interest in technical field then you may go for M.Tech. But, if you wish to be a part of management stream then go for MBA.
