I am a student from IIT, Guwahati, pursuing chemical engineering and want to get a job in Google or big MNC's.

I love competitive coding, app, web, game development, currently in the 1st year. What should I do please suggest? I have learned C, C+, Java, Python android studio.

    If you have well knowledge of Coding, programme like C+, Java, Python and good academic background, then you can able to sit in exam of Google which are all India level.

    Working as a chemical engineer is something you should focus on rather than package and getting placed. Of course, India has a huge demand for chemical engineering in fields like oil technology (both mineral & edible), fluids, food, pharma, chemicals etc. But as a chemical engineer, your work would include spending a significant amount of time in a chemical plant. This is the testing point. Working in between boilers, reactors, pipes & sound is something a bit more time taking speaking politely. (most people don't opt to join chemical jobs due to this reason).
