To study in American colleges, you first need to choose your major i.e in which particular subject you are interested and search for the universities that offer degree in that very subject. Then you need to appear in English language tests like TOEFL. IELTS Duolingo IBT to prove your English proficiency because all subjects are taught in English language only. There are some colleges that don't require any test but most of the good universities require tests like SAT TOEFL.
